Rona is an emerging artist, based in Sydney and working primarily with oil paint. She has always loved bright colours, fuelled by her father’s African heritage and her teenage years spent in tropical Uganda. She has been painting and drawing throughout her life, but recently has focused on abstraction in order to emphasise on light, motion and colour.
Rona seeks to employ bold colour contrasts and to create an abstract sense of motion and form, evoking the imagination with an emphasis on emotive painterly techniques and celebration of the natural form of the oil paint.
Rona works at Nauti Studios, located in Stanmore, Sydney Australia. If you would like to make an enquiry or purchase one of her latest painting, please visit her Bluethumb page. For prints and other merchandise, please see her Red Bubble profile. For handmade jewellery, see her Etsy store.
