‘Strom’ was painting during the Sydney Storms of 2016 – inspired by the terrific rattling, screaming and potential implosion of the vast, corrugated iron roof of Nauti Studios. I had to scramble around to attend to a number of serious leaks but thankfully Strom was born unharmed. The sense of urgency and wild energy is inescapable!
Winner of the Special Recognition award for the 2016 ‘Seasons‘ exhibition with Light Space and Time.
